Household Tissue Exhibition Concludes; Technology Empowers a Surge of New Categories

The 32nd International Household Tissue Science and Technology Exhibition recently concluded at the Wuhan International Expo Center. Covering a total area of 100,000 square meters, the exhibition featured five major sectors: household Tissue, sanitary products, raw and auxiliary materials, equipment and machinery, and health and nursing care, encompassing the entire industrial chain. It attracted over 40,000 professional visitors and hundreds of well-known domestic and foreign enterprises, showcasing the innovative achievements and cutting-edge trends of the household tissue industry. As an industry bellwether, the exhibition presented three core trends: "technology empowerment, environmental protection upgrade, and integration of emotional value". Numerous enterprises unveiled new products, attracting significant market attention.

Hengan Group launched its "Born for the Wild" tissue series for the first time. With a four-layer structure design, integrated with exquisite flower printing and embossing, the product not only maintains the thick and tough characteristics brought by TAD technology in terms of quality, but also conveys emotional value through the integration of natural elements, catering to the current consumers' pursuit of "wilderness feeling" and "spiritual healing". Li Li, Vice President of Hengan Group, stated that tissue towels originate from nature and should comply with consumers' yearning for nature, allowing users to feel the comfort of primitive nature in daily use. Bamboo Pulp Tissue participated in the exhibition with the theme of "Safe Contact, Choose Bamboo Pulp Tissue", showcasing a variety of innovative bamboo fiber products. Adopting non-bleaching technology and new embossing technology, the products offer a softer and skin-friendly touch while adhering to the concept of no added chemical components, aligning with the healthy consumption trend. Nepia focused on the pain point of nose wiping during seasonal changes and brought its 7-layer moisturizing tissue series. Added with imported moisturizing liquid and squalane essence, it solves the problem of skin redness and peeling caused by wiping noses with ordinary tissue towels. Since the launch of the first moisturizing tissue in 2004, the product has undergone multiple technological upgrades and has become a benchmark product in the niche market. Zhihu displayed its new "Super Roll" series, which combines center-pull and hanging design, with more sheets and thicker texture, as well as a waterproof and dustproof independent packaging design, suitable for multiple household scenarios. Its "Cloud Bear" series cotton velvet facial tissues are made of high-quality Xinjiang cotton fibers and virgin wood pulp, specially designed for people with rhinitis and mother-infant groups. Vinda Group adopted a scenario-based display model and launched co-branded facial cleansing towels with Line Friends Puppy. With their high-value design and practical functions, they have become the focus of young consumers. Vinda's high-end brand Tempo collaborated cross-border with Butter Bear to launch a co-branded series with diverse styles. Among them, the kitchen tissue adopts Airflash technology, with water absorption capacity far exceeding ordinary products.

Industry insiders pointed out that technological research and development, digital upgrading and raw material innovation are becoming new engines for industry development. In the future, household tissue will pay more attention to the integration of quality, health and emotional value.
